COD : direct object

the “complément d’objet direct” is the word or group of words that join the verb without preposition to complete its meaning

– I see a robot

elle mange un radis
– she’s eating a radish

how to identify a COD ?

to identify the direct object complement, play detective by adding who or what after the verb
